Our recording of this very old and gorgeous Scottish Waltz. Recording engineer Bill Simpkins. Mixed by Bill Simpkins and Jan Peters. Brit Keeton - Fiddle, Zach Bauman - Bouzouki, David Lofgren - Bodhrán, Jan Peters - Harmonicas.

The title actually refers to drinking fine scotch whiskey straight up - therefore naked!

From Laura Risk's liner notes: Little is known about the history of this beautifully-shaped pentatonic tune which appears in Oswald's "Curious Collection" (Edinburgh, 1740) and later, turned into a minuet, in the Gillespie manuscript (Perth 1768).
